My daughter Jane has a passion for hiking up mountains and in Tasmania we have some beautiful, iconic mountains so she can indulge her passion.  She usually goes with a girlfriend and quite often they leave at 4.00 a.m. so they can catch a beautiful sunrise!

Recently she took her son, Tom (aged 12), with her and they tackled Mt. Arthur together.  This is a very small mountain and not far from where we live, so it was pretty easy going for the two of them.  But it was a beautiful day and some lovely scenery!
